We collect only what the Service needs to sign you in, bill you, and keep the account secure. We do not sell your personal information.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To create your account and send you single-use sign-in links. |
| Session token (cookie) | To keep you signed in. Stored on our side only as a hash — a leaked database yields no working sessions. |
| Billing data (name, card, subscription status) | Collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers never touch our servers; we store only your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and whether your access is active. |
| Technical logs (IP address, request metadata) | Generated by our hosting for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. |
The labor-market data shown in the Service (BLS, Census, and other public sources) is not personal information about you.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
We share the minimum necessary data with the processors that run the Service. Each acts on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy:
We keep account data for as long as your account exists and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data that we are not required to retain. Billing records held by Stripe are retained under Stripe's own policies.
Sign-in tokens are stored hashed, sessions ride in a secure cookie, and access to paid data is decided server-side on every request. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the Service so that a database leak does not expose working sessions or card data.
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Questions or privacy requests: Aurmetric — [email protected]. See also our Terms of Service.
